Presentation of the USE IPM project at the workshop titled “Empowering the Future” in Skopje, N.Macedonia
On 31 May 2024, during the fourth and final workshop titled “Empowering the Future,” part of the IA project “Non-Traditional Majors and the Future of Internal Auditing Sustainability,” the USE IPM project was disseminated. This project is funded by the Internal Auditing Education Partnership (IAEP) Program Grant and supported by the Internal Audit Foundation’s Academic Fund.
The main goal of the IA project was to expand internal auditing education to non-traditional majors through workshops, corporate visits, and research competitions, fostering awareness, inclusivity, and practical insights into the profession. The four workshops covered prominent areas such as sustainability, ESG investing, tone at the top, and the cohesion between internal audit and corporate governance.
Todor presented research findings on the state and perspectives of experts regarding sustainability and sustainability reporting in North Macedonia. These results were obtained from the research conducted by the USE IPM project team, specifically a second Delphi study with experienced experts in the field. In addition, the main objectives of the USE IPM project, along with both completed and upcoming activities, were presented and disseminated to the participants. Over 40 students, several professors and assistants from the Faculty of Economics – Skopje, and representatives from IIA – North Macedonia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) attended the workshop.
