Short intensive course “Sustainable Development, Circular Economy and Societal Resilience”, University of Tirana

On December 9 2025, a info section was held at the Faculty of Economics University of Tirana, featuring the start of the short intensive course “Sustainable Development, Circular Economy and Societal Resilience”. The course was designed as an interdisciplinary and practice-oriented learning experience, addressing key challenges related to sustainability, resilience, and ethical innovation. The program brought together an international group of lecturers, alongside academic staff from the University of Tirana and experts from the NGO sector. A dedicated module focused on Artificial Intelligence and Ethics, highlighting the role of responsible and ethical AI in advancing sustainable development and informed decision-making. The importance of the USE IPM project in relation to the enhancement of sustainable entrepreneurship in WB region was highlighted by the project team leader, Prof. Elona Pojani. The connection between Circular economy principles and sustainable entrepreneurship pillars was emphasized the info day.
