“Green Insurance” Workshop, University of Tirana

On January 21, 2026 the “Green Insurance” Workshop was organized at the Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana. The workshop brought together academics, insurance professionals, and Master’s students in Finance to discuss the role of the insurance industry in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals under the Paris Agreement and the link between insurance market development and sustainability performance. During the event, the USE IPM project was presented by the project team leader Prof. Elona Pojani, who highlighted the importance of sustainable entrepreneurship and presented several research projects developed within the project. The links between green insurance and sustainable business practices was emphasized in this context.
