Public–Private Partnership: A Contemporary Review
On February 6, 2024, under the return phase activities, Milica Ristić Cakić shared the experience during the secondment to OpenCom in Italy. Milica Ristić Cakić highlighted the functioning of public-private partnerships in the Tuscany region, which operates successfully. She began her presentation by defining public-private partnerships and then explained the operational model of AISA Impianti SpA, a company based in Arezzo. The company’s main objective is to restore to the environment the energy and raw materials that humans take away, thus promoting a circular economic system. Special attention was given to the financial reports of this company and the results of its operations. Additionally, Milica explained the challenges faced by the company and how it addresses these issues.
