The Advantages of Joining the EU for Entrepreneurs

A dissemination event within the HORIZON-WIDERA USE IPM project was held on June 13, 2025, at the Faculty of Economics in Skopje. Through a presentation titled The Advantages of Joining the EU for Entrepreneurs, Professor Aleksandar Naumovski shared the conclusions he reached during his stay in Croatia in May 2025. Prof. Aleksandar Naumoski explored the transformative impact EU membership has on entrepreneurship, emphasizing Croatia as a compelling case study. He highlighted the EU’s single market benefits, access to funding (such as Horizon Europe and the EIC), harmonized regulations, and cross-border procurement opportunities. Special attention was given to the role of innovation hubs in supporting digital and sustainable growth. The talk underlined how EU membership can unlock inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship through talent mobility, institutional support, and integration into European value chains.
