Public-Private Partnership: A Contemporary Review
On September 15, 2025, during the return phase after secondment to IIE (Croatia), Maja Ivanovic DJukic presented an initiative that highlights a step-by-step model for integrating the EI center into academic and research structures. The process includes a needs assessment, a Memorandum of Understanding with the Faculty, a joint coordination body, and cooperation with key institutions such as the Niš Science and Technology Park, Niš Business Incubator, and NiCat Cluster.
A sustainable financial model is central to the EI center’s long-term success, combining grants, training programs, consulting services, and partnerships with industry and international organizations. Collaborations with entities such as UNDP, GIZ, and USAID are also envisioned.
The EI center is set to become a key player in advancing innovation, youth employment, and sustainable development in the region.
