Marija Radosavljević: Establishing student incubator center
As part of the team of Horizon Europe-funded project USE IPM, Marija Radosavljević delivered a focused and actionable presentation titled “Establishing a Student Incubator Center” on June 13, 2025. Her presentation outlined a structured approach to creating supportive environments that empower students to become successful entrepreneurs.
Student incubators were presented as essential platforms for nurturing innovation, offering access to infrastructure, expert mentorship, funding channels, and strategic networking. Radosavljević emphasized the importance of tailoring incubator models to the specific needs of student populations, highlighting the value of continuous support from recruitment through to alumni engagement.
The proposed framework included key components such as student needs assessments to design relevant support programs, infrastructure setup for co-working and development space, recruitment strategies to attract diverse talent, mentoring and coaching as core pillars for startup success, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to ensure progress, integration with the local and regional innovation ecosystem.
