Sustainable Innovation

Ljubiša Mićić, Assistant Professor at the University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Economics, presented on “Study visit to London, UK, 28th – 30th of August 2024: Sustainable Innovation.” In his presentation, Ljubiša discussed the role of sustainable innovation within services provided by Middlesex University’s MDXWorks Careers & Employability Service. The service is designed to support students and graduates by offering resources such as CV reviews, job application assistance, and workshops aimed at fostering sustainable entrepreneurship. The focus of MDXWorks is to equip graduates with skills to integrate sustainability into their entrepreneurial ventures, emphasizing ethical business practices, green innovation, and long-term sustainability.

Additionally, Ljubiša highlighted the visit to the Royal Docks School of Business and Law at the University of East London. The school offers diverse programs focused on business, technology, and entrepreneurship with a strong emphasis on sustainability and social responsibility. The school promotes collaboration between students and businesses that prioritize green and ethical practices, providing resources for students to engage in sustainable projects. The visit underscored the importance of integrating sustainability principles into academic curriculums and research to foster future leaders in innovation and social responsibility.
